Romanian Association for Philosophy of Law
Romanian Association of Law Philosophy (National Branch of the International Association of Law Philosophy and Social Philosophy – IVR) was constituted at 30th of July 1991, as part (department) of the Institute of Juridical Research “Acad. Andrei Radulescu” of the Romanian Academy.
The main goal of the Romanian Association of Law Philosophy is, according to its statute, to follow up the development and progress of the Law Philosophy at national level, accordingly with the results obtained at a worldwide level in this field.
In order to achieve these goals, the Association organizes debates and scientific sessions, cooperates with other national branches of the International Association and with national and international organizations that have a similar profile in order to improve the Association activity and promoting pluri - and interdisciplinary scientific research.
The National Branch of the International Association of Law Philosophy and Social Philosophy supports the publication of the scientific studies in the Institute’s Review or other publications. It also supports the participation of the Association members to international and national meetings, congresses, other scientific manifestations in order to help training specialists in this field of law and promoting the study of Law Philosophy within the Universities.
